What's up guys!  In this episode Andrew and I continue our discussion on male initiations through the book "Adam's Return" by Richard Rohr.  We focus this discussion on truths 2 and 3 of male initiations:  You are not important and life is not about you.  It was a great conversation and you all should check it out.

What's up everyone.  Today's episode is the 1st DADTALK of 2023 and my first episode done through ZOOM!  The talk was with an old friend Preston.  Preston is a father of 2 girls in middle school.  In this dadtalk we went deep fast and I don't think we ever stopped.  It was a great talk and my favorite part was our conversation on how we all parent through the lens of our own trauma in life and struggle with being present with our kids.  We also discussed how we all seem to struggle with finding community.  It was a great talk and I hope you all enjoy!

Hey everyone!  This podcast episode is the 1st in a series that focuses on our culture for boys and men and male initiation.  I brought back Andrew who is no stranger to discuss our observations about this using the book:  "Adams Return" by Richard Rohr.  In this book Rohr discusses what he observes about the needs of men and boys, and primal culture's use of the male initiation.  To summarize, Men need emotion, we are men, we feel stuck so listen to us banter about it!  

Hey guys in this episode I interviewed my good friend Racheal.  She and I go way back.  Racheal is a great lady who not only runs her own chiropractic office but she also raises two children with her partner Carrie.  I wanted to bring her on discuss life, our friendship and what its like being a mom in a lesbian relationship that did not carry the children. It was a great conversation and I learned a lot as well seeing the similarities in our lives as parents.  I hope you all enjoy!

Hey guys!  This was a fun episode for sure!  In this episode I became the guest not the interviewer, and I was questioned by Jim who you all will recognize from previous dadtalks and past episodes.  He wanted to know more about me and why I do what I do.  We had a great conversation while drinking delicious tequilas and Pacificos.  I hope you guys enjoy the talk as I did talking.
